Day 1, Saturday– Welcome to Sicily!
Arrive and check in at the five star Verdura Resort! Unwind and meet for a welcome dinner at Amare restaurant where we will beging immersing ourselves in Sicilian culture and fare.

Day 2, Sunday –The World of Planeta
This morning we will visit the Ulmo winery from the Planeta Family in Menfi that sits across from Africa. We will tour the vineyard and winery and have a special library tasting of their wines.
For lunch we will visit the Planeta estate, La Foresteria where we will enjoy a lunch at the Michelin restaurant paired with wines by Chef Angelo. Lunch will be enjoyed while overlooking their herb garden and vineyard.

Day 3, Monday – Relax and Enjoy
Today is a free day to do what you wish. Enjoy a day on the golf course, relaxing at the spa, pool or beach.
At 8pm we will meet for cocktails at Torré bar followed by a Sicilian fare at Liolá.

Day 4, Tuesday – Fishing Town of Sciacca
This afternoon we will visit the historic fishing village of Sciacca where we will have a guided tour and also see how the famous ceramics of this area are made. Followed by a lovely dinner overlooking the Mediterranean sea.

Day 5, Wednesday – Agrigento
Following check out we will traverse the island leaving the West heading to the East side of the island. We will stop in Agrigento and have a tour of the Valley of the Temples a UNESCO World Heritage Site. .
We end our journey at the Diodoro private garden in the Valley of Temples. Enjoy a typical Sicilian picnic among citrus groves and aromatic herbs. The authentic flavors of Sicilian cuisine are enhanced by the delicious wines of the land. The citrus garden in which the picnic is served is part of the agricultural area of the Valley of the Temples Archaeological Park, which covers 1,400 hectares. This citrus grove dates back to 1740, and it is mentioned in ancient maps that the Cistercian Monks who sought to plant the most colorful and productive trees on the island!
We will arrive to our next hotel the Zash Country Boutique Hotel.

Day 6, Thursday – Etna Experience
This morning we will head to Mt. Etna the largest active volcano in Europe! We trek up the volcano with our guides and learn and understand how this volcano came to be and what effects it has on the soils. (Intermediate level)
We will then head to the Tascante Winery where we will have a vineyard and winery tour followed by lunch.
Later in the evening we will share our last meal together at the Zash Michelin Star Restaurant headed by Chef Giuseppe Raciti and enjoy dinner and drinks.

Day 7, Friday – Sicily from the Sea
This morning we will take a boat ride admiring the East coast from the sea. Admire Taormina, Isola Bella, Grotta Azzura, go into a cave and more on this 4 hour adventure. We will have drinks and snacks on board and we can also enjoy a swim.
Back to the the hotel to freshen up as we head to Taormina center in the late afternoon for a stroll and shopping followed by a lovely dinner in town.

Day 8, Saturday – Catania Street Food & Pesceria
Today we head on an amazing food and fish market tour in Catania, the baroque city living in the shadow of the volcano Etna, dozens of times destroyed and always rebuilt more attractive and dynamic. We will join our tour guide and visit the streets, stalls and local delis. These are definitely not places you would visit on your own. Learn about Sicilian cuisine and taste some of the great local favorites which were all influenced by the many conquerers from the Greeks, Spaniards, North Africans and Arabs. A day of Sicilian immersion!

Day 9, Sunday – Arrivederci!!!
Enjoy our last breakfast together as we say Ciao to our new friends.
